If you are planning to visit Australia for a business event such as a conference, meeting or seminar, you need to apply for a business visa. The passport which you hold determines whether you can apply online, or if you need to lodge a paper-based application.

PLEASE NOTE:  Visa applicants must demonstrate that they meet all the legislative requirements for an Australian visa. It is strongly recommended that paper-based visa applications are lodged well in advance of a participant’s intended date of travel (6-8 weeks before). Online visa applicants should allow at least 2 weeks for their application to be processed.
